So, if you haven’t already heard the news, Zayn Malik has decided to leave One Direction.

In all seriousness, I completely understand his reasons for leaving, and the reason he stayed for so long.
Zayn Malik has ALWAYS and I mean always, been my favourite. I remember him being on the show and literally sitting there thinking phwarrr, as like a 12 year old little girl. I thought I had seen an angel, you know?

My first thought when he had decided to leave, I was full of mixed emotions. Mainly sad, but mixed. I mean like he clearly wasn’t happy in the band so he has done the right for his 22 year old self.

I must admit too, amongst the sad thoughts I had I also thought “what am I going to do with my life size cut out and doll of Zayn?” like, what if he decides in the future he wants to be a plumber, holy shit I would just have some random dude as a plastic doll.

It’s been such a beautiful 5 years knowing Zayn (well – it feels like I know him. You get what I mean). I remember when they just won X Factor and my friend and I put our heart and soul into making a scrap book for Zayn, and when I say heart and soul honestly we put so much time and effort into this book. We never finished it but it’s the thought that counts, right?
I would also like to throw it out there that Zayn’s cover of Let me love you / Mario was my ring tone at one point in my life, I regret nothing.

Anyway, CRUFTS 2015 WAS AMAZIIIIING
I am literally so happy I had the chance to go, even though I only went for 1 day only. Whilst I was poorly in February, mom promised me we could go to Crufts (as I had asked the year before). Little did we know, we already had plans to go to a business weekend with the one and only Jan Ruhe – who is literally amazing. I am so happy I got to meet her and listen to her story! Even better, I am thankful that she taught me a few new things for when I start my own business in May 2015. Exiting stuff!

Back to Crufts
I went on Thursday, which so happened to be the working group day. As I have a Maltese, I would so have preferred to go on the Saturday – when the toy breeds were showing but nonetheless I went and I had an amazing time.
I met one of my idols, Victoria Stilwell…

She signed the book I bought too and I guess I was a tiny weeny bit star struck. Maybe a lot, I can’t remember.
I got to buy some stuff from Groomers-online, which funnily enough was not online, but you get the drift.

You should have seen my face when they got through to Best In Show, I don’t think Alfie knew what hit him. He was getting the biggest cuddle he ever will have witnessed in his life, I was ecstatic!
A few small words…
As you may have heard, an Irish Setter named Jagger had passed away after returning home from Crufts, by possible poisoning at the show.
It is extremely sad that someone could have possibly done this and very cruel indeed. My thoughts are with Jagger’s family.
So I have noticed some people (in particular, mutual friends on Facebook that I do not really know) often get down over silly things, although I understand how some can be massive to other people. None the less, I just also want to share with you guys that it’s going to be okay and you have so many things to be proud of!
I have made this blog post for you to see with a few uplifting pictures, my favourite happy songs, quotes, and of course a great list of what YOU have to be proud of. Yes, you.

As I work behind a desk, I am always on the computer, typing or reading or whatever I have to do in between. It’s recently become “a thing” for my eyes to hurt after only a little while on the computer. I don’t know why because my vision is great! I can read well and see things long and short distance.
I used to have to wear glasses when I was in school, only for a while though. I decided not to wear them after a while, they made me feel really insecure about myself *SHOCK HORROR* (remember I was in school, kids are weird)
So yeah, mom booked me a cheeky eye test in and yesterday – the day after pay day – I splashed my cash on some Versace glasses with reactor lenses and also another cheeky pair of Michael Kors glasses. #IRegretNothing
I only need a weak lens as I can see pretty well, but I wanted some sunglasses anyway this payday so thought frick it, I will just sneak in a reactive lens then I can wear them in the sun AND at work. It’s a win win at the end of the day really?

Soooo I am reaaaaaaally exited to get them next week. 🙂 definitely something to take my mind off having Pleurisy (ugh).
I have been pretty damn lazy today (accidentally, sorry mom! I did do a good 3 hours real work though) and had a lot of time just sitting in the lounge with the pups. While it was a luuuuurvely relaxed day, it got me thinking.
I remember at the end of school, we had this little talk with a special teacher that came in to teach us how to survive an interview (basically). I remember him saying something along the lines of don’t think that all of your friends are going to be on facebook all day every day like you, without a job just because you don’t have a job. You’ll be a loser without a job.
WELL
It’s kinda part of my job title to be on Facebook. Like, I have to advertise on there. And sell. And get work. And keep in touch with customers.
I am just saying, if you know what you want in life, don’t settle for any shit else. Kill it, gurl. Make your life your own and something to be proud of. If you want to be a bus driver, that’s totally cool! But why not go the step above, have your own fricking bus company! You want to be a chef? Awesome! You could aspire to be a world famous chef. I don’t know. Just my thought process.
On that note though, don’t fucking change for anybody. If someone doesn’t like your career choice, prove them wrong with your hella cool happy face every day whilst they still work in Poundland waking up miserable because they don’t have the passion and determination that you have. You were born to do you, I promise you.
I am an aspiring dog day care owner and dog groomer! Do you literally think everyone that I have told thinks that is a dream job? I swear I would be lying if everyone has told me it’s a fab idea. I don’t care.
And remember, you can change careers later on in your life if you really want to. Please don’t feel pressured to pick a job role and think that you have to do that forever.
Holy shit, half the people in school stress out so bad choosing a course for college because they don’t know what they want to do yet. That’s fine!!! You’re only 16, you’ve got kids, grand kids, mortgages, cars, a whole life to live yet. It really doesn’t matter.
And you know what, it doesn’t matter if you don’t have any qualifications. I’m pretty sure Lord Alan Sugar doesn’t have any.
My personal inspiration is my mom, she left school at 15 no qualifications. She is now an award winning author, made tv appearances, spoke in front of the European Parliament (!!!) and known in the business world as the £7 million pound mom. She’s self employed. She done it for herself and us kids. Pure goals right there.
Basically I have this problem. I get money for Christmas (which is not the problem) and immediately after, Christmas sales happen. Now here’s the problem: Every year, I like to go “Sales Shopping”. However my kind of sales shopping does not include shopping in the sales. I just really don’t enjoy diving amongst hundreds of other eager shoppers to look for stuff that is probably not even of any use to me (but what do I know, I don’t even look), instead, I walk away with full price items but still happy as Larry! Please note, I do love a good bargain, but I am basically too lazy / short tempered to shop when 95% of the population also want that specific good bargain that I am after… If that makes sense.

I’ve also been super ill since Christmas Eve (booooo) so I have had a lot of time to reflect on the times that I took for granted, like breathing with a nose that isn’t blocked and being able to sleep without coughing my lungs up at least once in the night. Anyway, after 2 not quite successful shopping trips, I ended up shopping online.
If you follow me on instagram, I posted 2 weeks ago an outfit I tried on in River Island that I was mega tempted to buy but didn’t, well God heard my cries and the jeans I fell in love with became half price AND they had my size in stock. I obviously invested.

I also decided to purchase a couple of MAC lipsticks online – don’t judge but I have never tried them before – in shades “All Fired Up” and “Kinda Sexy”, the latter is more of an every day nude / pink shade and All Fired up seems to be like a deep red matte shade. Super excited for them to be delivered!!!
On another note…
I just thought I’d let you know I will probably end up writing a quick review on the 2 lipsticks when they arrive so stay tuned! I will share it on my Facebook when it’s all done and of course instagrammers will get an update too. 🙂

From holidays to more holidays, and working to even more work, 2014 for me was actually decent.
I never really noticed how good my year had been until Facebook kindly reminded me the other day with them, “It’s been a great year! Thanks for being a part of it” posts. I passed my driving test, got a puppy, went to Disney World Florida, Greece, Scotland and then of course things like my brother moving closer to us (he used to live hours away!) and many other reasons.
I am quite a positive person, to be honest. I guess this year had it’s downs too, but why dwell on it when some frickin awesome things happened too?! #overit
